Are my standards to high? So I posted a question asking “Would it bother a guy if I have never been in a relationship? my summary was that I wasn’t in any relationships “Ever” or had a boyfriend, dated, whatever the Heck you want to call it, because of bad frogs and no prince’s. Ok so let me clarify “Frog”! and “Prince’s!” So some guys responded to my question (feel free to let me know how you feel as well) saying that i can’t be to hard on guys that may come along because of bad one’s in the past. here are my frogs:
Frog-a reptile that lives in swaps, lakes, forrest or wooded areas
My Frog-or a guy who treats you like crap
1. A guy who yells out “Hey girl, come here!” “Damn! you look sexy as hell!”, “Hey girl, what’s your name?”, “Hey, Light skinned”, and there is plenty more, i can write a freak-in’ book! and they all do this while standing on the street corner, in front of buildings, or while your at school. They also yell at you, while your waiting to go to high school and pull up in their cars.
2. They call you every name in the book but the child of God, when you say no, like “Lesbian!” or “Bitch!”
3. or They stare at you. Don’t say anything, whether they are attractive or not, they just look. Sometimes I don’t notice so my friends tell me, but when I do and I look back, they turn away.
4. They just want to have sex with you.
Are these Frogs? I would think so!
Definition of Prince:
Prince-A male who has a title over territory, land, a nation, that includes or is inhabited by a population. Then may or may not become a King.
My Prince- Has three common traits 1. Good Personality 2. Respect 3. Common Sense (no matter the race, income, or place of origin)
So, am I wrong for waiting for my prince to come along? Not wanting to get harmed physically or mentally is something that no human being wants. Not only that, I am a full time student and I work. I hang out with my friends and sometimes I like to go visit places myself, so it isn’t like I’m inaccessible. I am nice, funny, smart, I love sports and video games, I can talk about politics or movies, anything. Hey how about this I can read and I can write, DOUBLE WHAMMY!
Guys, are you scared then to date me now. does my simplicity scare you away? or does having those 3 basic things make you nervous?
